new story added!

The story of our investigation of the Kawartha Lakes Museum and Archives is now posted!

This is also our last weekend before our crazy, busy summer begins!  We will be spending the weekend researching and getting things ready to go!  If you have emailed us recently in regards to investigating a private location, please know and understand that we are doing our best to reply to everyone.  Due to our schedule, we only have a few days that we are able to connect with individuals, and there are many of you in the queue.  We are doing our best so please bear with us!  Our next available date is end of June.

Next week sees us heading back to one of our favourite places - Prince Edward County!  We are excited to visit this place and be the first team to investigate!  We can't wait!  This location also has a connection to a location we have investigated in the past.  How intriguing is that!

Event Update!

We want to extend a big THANK YOU to the Cobourg Public Library and all the attendees who joined us yesterday, April 22, at our presentation for their Boomers & Beyond group.  We had so much fun sharing our stories, listening to yours and answering your questions.  We look forward to our next visit!

Our Scugog Shores Museum Village Public Investigation event has been posted!  Tickets are now available, and if it is anything like our Kawartha Settlers' Village Public Investigation events, it will probably sell out quickly!  Get your tickets today to avoid disappointment.  The link to purchase tickets can be found on our event page.  Please keep in mind that only the Township of Scugog and the Museum are selling tickets!  We can't wait to return and hope that Mrs. Lee remembers us!

Happy Easter!

Wishing all of our followers and visitors a very Happy Easter weekend.  If Easter isn't your thing, we hope that you have a very happy weekend regardless of what you celebrate.

Friday April 22 sees us presenting at the Cobourg Public Library for the Boomers and Beyond crowd (55+) .

In the meantime Rachel is busy putting together the story for our investigation of the Kawartha Lakes Museum & Archives - formerly known as the Olde Gaol Museum in Lindsay.

We Went To Jail!

On March 26, 2022 the team was locked up for the evening at the Olde Gaol Museum in Lindsay, Ont.  Though it was only a brief stay, the team was let out on Good Behaviour.  It was definitely and interesting evening and there was some intriguing experiences had by all.  We can't wait to return one day and see what else we can uncover.  If you weren't able to tune into our live video last night, you can check it out on our Facebook Page, or head to our YouTube page and watch it there!

We also received news today that our July 2 and July 23 event dates for the Kawartha Settlers' Village Public Investigation are SOLD OUT!  There is a handful of tickets remaining for the July 22 date, but we don't expect those to last long.  We are thrilled with the response to this event and can't wait to investigate with you!

Investigation and Events!

TONIGHT - March 26, 2022, sees the team travelling to the Kawartha Lakes Region to investigate an historic location!  We are looking forward to this investigation.  We will hopefully be going LIVE on our Facebook page tonight, so check for updates on there and join us if and when we do! (Just have to obtain permission from the location first).

Also we have new public events!  We will be a part of 3 amazing public events this summer!  They will be taking place in Picton, Port Perry and Bobcaygeon.  Check out our Events Page for more information and how to get tickets!

One down, LOTS to go!

On Saturday March 12, 2022 the team traveled to a little place called Wallacetown (located on the shores of Lake Erie) to investigate the Backus-Page House Museum.  It was definitely a night to remember!  We are currently going over footage and will be writing the story shortly!

Next weekend has us traveling up to the Kawartha Lakes region to investigate a very historic location!

We also have a lot of other investigations planned and public events too! Summer 2022 is BOOKED. We can't wait for everything that is about to come.  Stay tuned for more information on our public events.  We will be posting them as soon as we can!

First Investigation of 2022 Secured!

Picture

Our first official investigation of 2022 has been secured!

We will be heading to South Western Ontario in March to investigate this location. We can't wait!

We can't tell you where we are going just yet! Stay tuned!

February 2022 - Update

Where did January go?  And how are we almost to the middle of February already?

This past weekend (February 5) we did a private event at Calm Surrender in Orono.  It was a great night and we definitely had some interesting things happen.
Next weekend sees us returning to filming at at location in Clarington.  While we would love to tell you where it is, we have to wait!  We are also busy securing locations all across Ontario, as well as researching!  I should also say that we are also planning some public events as well.

We can't wait to share all of this with you!  Stay tuned!

Where should we go?

While we wait for the current "shut down" to end, we have a question for you:

Good Bye 2021, Hello 2022!

Picture
Another year has come and gone - how crazy is that?!  Even though we are still in the swing of this pandemic, we are forever thankful and grateful to all the locations that allowed us to investigate, as well as join in on their public events.  We can't wait to see what 2022 has in store!

New Story Added!

Our investigation story of the Uxbridge Historical Centre is now posted!  You can find it under our "Stories and Reports"!
We hope you enjoy it!

This upcoming weekend we will be conducting a Private Residence investigation.   Please be advised that we will NOT be doing any live videos or writing a story.  This is strictly to help the owners of the property understand what is going on and validate their experiences.  IF we capture anything noteworthy, we may share it.  However, permission will be obtained by the property owners before anything is posted.  Confidentiality is of the utmost importance and we will do everything we can to respect the wishes of the property owners.

Just a reminder that December is our "Off" month.  While we are still here to answer your emails and messages, we will not be investigating any locations.   Investigating will commence in 2022 and we already have a handful of locations in the que!

Another Year Winding Down

It is crazy to think that another Halloween has come and gone.  While it was a little "slower" than we are use to, it definitely felt more normal.  We once again had opportunity to be a part of the Historic All Hallows Eve event at Lang Pioneer Village.  This two day event is something we would never think of missing out on.  This was our fourth year participating in the spooky and fun event (it would have been our 5th but the covid pandemic put a stop to that in 2020).  We are looking forward to all the future events in 2022.

We are still going over the audio from our investigation of the Uxbridge Historical Centre.  The story is also currently being written and hopefully within the next week or so, it will be sent off to the Historical Centre for their approval.  Once that is obtained, we will post it for everyone to enjoy!

We are also in the process of securing investigations for 2022.  We currently in discussions with 5 locations, all throughout Ontario.  We foresee 2022 being the year of Paranormal Road Trips!

If you have any locations that you think are haunted, or have had experiences at, and would like to see it investigated, let us know!  Use the contact form on our website, send us an email, or message over social media.

Just a reminder that December is our "Break" month.  This means that, while we are still here to respond to messages, emails and postings, we will be not be conducting any investigations or events (unless it is deemed important or priority).  December is our month to spend with our families and friends, and to enjoy the festive season.  It also gives us time to start planning for the upcoming year and setting out our goals and intentions.  Again, we are always a message or email away and respond as fast as we are able to.

All Hallows Eve at Lang Pioneer Village Museum

On Saturday October 23, we had the privilege to investigate the Uxbridge Historical Centre. What an interesting evening! We have figured out who the little girl is that people have heard in the one building - thanks to research and a ghost box session! We will be going over footage and writing the story shortly.

This weekend sees us returning to Lang Pioneer Village Museum to take part in their All Hallows Eve event. We will be there both days (Friday October 29 and Saturday October 30, 6pm to 9pm.). This is a ticketed event, and as of right now it is ALL SOLD OUT! However, spots may open up - call the Museum Village to inquire. You can reach them at 1-705-295-6694. We look forward to seeing everyone!!

New Story Added!

The story of our investigation of the Regent Theatre in Picton is now posted!  Make sure you check it out and the videos along with it!

We have a busy couple of weeks coming up.  First, we will be traveling to Northern Durham Region to investigate another interesting location that is rich in history.  Then on October 29th and 30th we are thrilled to let you know that we will once again be a part of Lang Pioneer Village's All Hallows Eve event.  This is an in-person event, and from what we have heard it is currently SOLD OUT!  However, keep checking their website for updates as more time slots to book may be added.  We can't wait to return to the village and see everyone!

November is also looking like it may start to fill up soon.  We have a few things in the works and can't wait to see where things go.

New Videos Posted!

Three new videos have just been posted to our YouTube Page!  All three are from our Kawartha Settlers' Village investigation.  Check them out and let us know what you think!

Click on the YouTube link above to be taken directly to our page (the last little black circle - beside the Twitter one!)

IT'S SPOOKY SEASON!

THATS RIGHT!  IT'S SPOOKY SEASON!
Don't ask us where September went.  We blinked and it was gone!  We had a very busy one to say the least.  September 9th saw us visiting the Beck House in Penetanguishene to film with Haunted Ontario.  September 18th saw us investigating the Regent Theatre in Picton, Ontario.  September 24 saw us visiting the Olde Gaol Museum in Lindsay, Ontario to film with YourLocal TV.

October will bring more investigation that will take us to Northern Durham Region.

Also, our story for Kawartha Settlers' Village is done and posted for you all to read!  It took some time, but that was because we had some interesting audio footage to decipher through.  That will be posted shortly so stay tuned!

Picton's Regent Theatre Story is currently being written and should be ready and posted within the next week or so (unless there is some interesting footage to go over!).

End of Summer - Where did it go?

How is it almost the middle of September already?  Where did the Summer go?

On August 21, the team made their way up to Bobcaygeon, Ontario and got the chance to investigate Kawartha Settler's Village.  The night was interesting and we have now jokingly nicknamed Rachel the "Queen of Pioneer Villages".  The story for this investigation should be published very soon.

On September 9, the team was once again on the road.  Travelling to Penetanguishene, Ontario to investigate the historic Beck House.  This was set up by a Producer and Film crew for a potentially new show called Haunted Ontario.  We had the a blast filming and want to thank everyone involved for their hard work and dedication.  We can't wait to see the finished product.

This up coming weekend (September 18, 2021), sees us travelling once again.  This time, we are heading back to Prince Edward County to investigate another historically rich building.  We can't wait to return to one of our favourite towns and see who wants to communicate with us.

Paranormal Activity and a Full Moon!

On Friday July 23, 2021 the team got the opportunity to return to Pickering Museum Village to investigate their ghostly inhabitants. The night did not disappoint! We are now in the process of reviewing footage and getting everything together to write the story. We are excited to return one day soon (hopefully)!

After footage review, we will be jumping right back into researching our next location, which we will be investigating in a few weeks.

New Story Added!

That's right!  Our story for the Merrill House Investigation is now posted!  We will be adding a few more pictures shortly (computer transfer issues - gotta love technology!)  Give it a read and let us know what you think!

We are also in research mode for our next investigation which will be taking place next Friday!  We can't wait to get back out there and really investigate now that Ontario will be entering Step 3 this Friday.

It's Officially Summer!

How is it July already?  Time is flying and we have only just begun.
For those that follow us on Facebook and Instagram, you will know that at the beginning of June we travelled to Picton, Ontario and had the opportunity to investigate a historical location - The Merrill House.  We couldn't have asked for a better location to start our 2021 investigation season.

Speaking of the investigation, Rachel is putting the finishing touches on the story and will have it posted very soon!  So stay tuned!

We are gearing up for our second investigation of 2021, which will happen in a couple of weeks.  This one is in the Durham Region and we can't wait to visit and see what our equipment can capture!

May 2-4 Weekend!

We hope everyone is having a wonderful May long weekend! We are counting down the days until this current "shut down" is over and we are looking forward to getting out and investigating!  Some of our investigations have been postponed till late Summer, early fall - but they are still a go!

In the meantime, we have been busy researching and being a part of podcasts! Check out our latest interview with Phantom Faction!

Spring 2021 Update #2 - Pandemic edition

With all theses new stay-at-home orders and restrictions, we have had to, once again, reschedule a couple of our upcoming investigations. We really hope this is the last time we have to do this!
Also, with the new restrictions we will not be able to do any Paranormal Campfire live videos. We can still do live videos with everyone in their own little squares if that still interests everyone!

Let us know by filling out the poll below!

Spring 2021 Update - Pandemic Edition

Just when we think things are looking up, C19 decides that it's not giving up that easily.  Ontario was placed into another "Shut Down, Stay at Home Order" last week.  With that, we are currently unable to conduct any investigations at locations for the next 28 days.  Sadly, our investigation that was set for today (April 11, 2021) had to be postponed.  We do have another investigation at the beginning of May - a day after this shut down/stay at home order is to expire.   We have our fingers crossed that this will still happen.

While we may not be able to go into locations, we are still able to visit outside locations.  Luckily for us, we all work together outside of the team and are with each other almost every day.  While we still remain socially distant, we can hang out and look at locations that don't require any indoor work.  So last night we ventured to Camp 30 in Bowmanville for a socially distance walk.  It was definitely an interesting experience.  Afterwards, we did a Facebook Live Q&A session - which I will be posting to our YouTube channel shortly.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send us a message or email and ask!

We can't wait for these restrictions to be lifted so we can formally investigate locations and share our adventures with you!

Another investigation!

We are excited to let you all know that we have set and confirmed our 3rd investigation for this year!
We are so grateful for all of opportunities that have been given to us. We cannot wait to share where we are going and what we may uncover!

We are currently working on confirming a couple more investigations at this time, as well as a couple public events. We are hoping that this pandemic will ease up so we can enjoy this Summer to the fullest!

SPring and Summer Investigations!

**UPDATE**
We have now secured 2 investigations, and have 3 others awaiting on the confirmation of dates and times!  We are so grateful for the opportunities to get back out and investigate.  We can't wait to share them with you!

We are excited to let you all know that we have a handful of investigations currently in the planning stages! It feels like these have been a long time in the making (thanks Covid!), but we are thrilled to be able to get back out and investigate soon. Hopefully this pandemic works with us and we can get out there and communicate with those who are probably wondering where we all went (though from experience, we're pretty sure they understand).
Do you have a place you want to see investigated? Let us know!

New Year, Same Pandemic

The end of January 2021 is only a few days away....  Where is time going?  What is happening?

It seems to be that we are in the new year, but we are still dealing with the same pandemic.  With lockdown restrictions, we are still unable to get together as a team and investigate.  This is really hard on all of us as we want to continue our research and investigation into the paranormal.  We know that everyone is getting antsy and wants new investigations, stories and events to attend.  We promise that the second we can get out, we will!  We will do our best to get some public events going and soon as we can, so everyone can get out and enjoy.
Stay tune, Rachel will be putting out an updated video in the next week or so.

In the meantime, if you have a place that you would like to see investigated, please let us know!  We are compiling a list of locations to contact as soon as we are able to visit places, once this lockdown/quarantine is over.

Where Did The Year Go?

This year seems to be flying by at record speed! Even with all of the crazy things that have been going on.
While we may not have been able to do what we wanted to this year, we did have some fun times.

We also have a new piece of equipment that we can't wait to use!

If you have a place of interest that you would like to see investigated, do not hesitate to send us a message or an email. Once this pandemic has lifted and things return to "normal" we will be booking for investigations and events!

We hope everyone continues to keep safe and healthy.

October 2020 Update

The Halloween Season is upon us, and we are so disappointed that we are unable to do much of anything this year.  Because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the restrictions/stipulations that are still in place, we are unable to host large events for the public to attend.  It makes us sad that we are unable to do this.  This October feels weird and out of place, not having anything booked or on our schedule.  But rest assured, when this pandemic lifts we are going to try and make up for the time lost!

This time last year, we were preparing to film with a handful of programs, one of them being The Marilyn Denis Show.  This was such and exciting time and amazing opportunity.  We had so much fun filming at Black Creek Pioneer Village with Tommy and the film crew.  If you were unable to catch the episode last year, you're in luck!  The Marilyn Denis Show is going to be re-airing our segment for their Halloween Special!  You can watch it on the following days and times:
Saturday October 24 - 6:30pm on CTV2
Sunday October 25 - 12:30pm on CTV
Saturday October 31 - 12:30pm on CTV

In the meantime, we will be doing the best we can to keep you updated with any new information and investigations that come our way!  If you have a place or location that you are interested in, let us know!  We love to hear your stories and experiences.

It's Good To Be back!

On Saturday August 22 the team got the opportunity to revisit one of our favourite location - Lang Pioneer Village in Keene.  Our team holds this location close to them, and was thrilled to return and see if we could capture anything.  We were NOT disappointed! We were also very happy to have shared the evening and experiences with a couple staff members, who can now state they've seen our equipment in action!  We will be posting video and pictures soon!

If you have a location that you would like us to investigate, send us an email!  If you would like us to come back to your location and continue research and communication, let us know!   Looking to put together a socially distance presentation, we can do it!  Contact us today to set something up to avoid disappointment.

Where did Summer go??

We can't believe how quickly this Summer, and this year, are going by!  With everything going on (and not going on for that matter), its crazy to think we are already coming up into the Halloween season!  Where did the Summer go?

Like many paranormal teams, we have been practicing social distancing and keeping to ourselves the past few months.  We are lucky that our Province is handling this pandemic fairly well.  With our entire province in Stage 3, we are able to now visit more locations and get back into investigating (social bubble, 10 or less people!)  So with saying that we are thrilled to let everyone know that we have been given permission to investigate one of our favourite locations, with the hopes of gathering more information to share with visitors!    We can't wait to share this with everyone!

So with that, we are off to continue our research!  We hope everyone continues to stay safe and healthy and enjoy the rest of their Summer.  Halloween is literally right around the corner!

New Story Added!

We have added a new story!
That's right!  Our Deseronto Public Library Story is now posted!  Check it out and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to send us a message!

98% of our province has now entered Phase 2 of re-opening.  This means we are able to venture out to some places now, under health and safety guidelines.  While we do not have anything planned as of yet, we would love to start making plans for future investigations and events.  If you are a location that would like to plan for an investigation, send us a message!  We would love to hear from you.  Our main goal, right now, is to help out locations and get some local tourism flowing.

We also love hearing your stories and experiences.  Have any of you experienced anything during the lock down/shut down?  Send us a message and let us know!

COVID-19 Pandemic Update

Another month has come and gone and we can most certainly say we are itching to get out and investigate! These last few months have definitely been tough, but we all know that we are going to come out of this stronger and more resilient.
While we would love to bring you new opportunities, new stories, new events, we just can't at the moment. But we promise you, the second the emergency orders are lifted, we will be jumping back in with both feet!  Being based in Durham Region, we are currently remaining in Phase 1 of the reopening process, so we unfortunately can't do anything within our Region, or Golden Horseshoe.

If you are a location looking to gain visitors and need a little help, let us know!  We want to help out as many locations as possible.  This could be investigations, public events, presentations.  Whatever the location wants! If you are a location that is interested in this, please send us an email (see the contact page) and we will plan something!  Please do not hesitate to ask any questions.
Please continue to stay safe and healthy.

Spring Update

We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during the COVID-19 pandemic that is currently sweeping the country.  We are doing our best to socially distance ourselves, but we get it - It's hard!  We can assure you that we are missing our investigations, our presentations and our events.  We missing interacting with all of you, and the dead, of course.  Soon this will pass and we will get back out there and bring you new stories and experiences.

We are finishing up our footage review of the Deseronto Public Library investigation and will commence writing the story shortly.  We know all of you would love to have a new story to read right now.

We also want to know if you would like to take part in Live Videos - ask questions, share experiences or have us talk about a specific topic.  If this is something you would like, send us an email (use the form on our contact page) and we will get right to it!

Again, when this is a thing of the past, we want to be able to help as many locations gain back visitors and recoup as much of their losses as possible.  PLEASE visit any of the public locations  we have visited.  Show your support. Learn about history.  Enjoy yourselves.  And if you're lucky, you may even get your own paranormal experience.  If you are a museum or historic location and would like to host something, or have us investigate, do not hesitate to contact us!  We are going to do our best to help bring tourism back to those places who need it!

Stay safe and healthy - We will get through this!

Investigation Update

On Saturday February 29th the team ventured to a little town called Deseronto and investigated the public library.  It was definitely and interesting night for sure!
Lucky for us, we get to return to the Deseronto Public Library this weekend - Saturday March 7 - where we will be hosting a presentation on who we are, what we do, how we do it, as well as our experiences investigating location including the library!  The Presentation starts at 6pm!  We hope to see you there!

In other news, we have added 2 new emails to our contact list!
If you have a question, comment or just want to get in touch with one of our Mediums, please send an email to medium@theparanormalseekers.ca
If you have a question, comment, or just want to get in touch with one of our Researchers, please send an email to researchers@theparanormalseekers.ca

Come On Mother Nature!

For the past few weekends, Mother Nature has not cooperated with us at all!  We have had investigations and events booked for Eastern Ontario but have had to rescheduled due to the inclement weather.  Hopefully she will be more cooperative moving forward!

We are getting ready to plan some public events for this summer and fall, but before we do we want to know what would love to take part in!    Answer the quick questionnaire below and let us know!

Hello 2020!

WOW!  Can you believe that we are already almost half way through January already?!
Life has been super busy for us since the end of the Halloween Season.  So we apologize for not being around as much as we would have like.  However, that is changing and we are getting right back into the swing of things!

We currently have a couple investigations and public events booked, and in the works.  We can't wait to share them with you!

Our website will be going through updates over the next week so keep checking back for new information, events, etc.

If you have a location you would like to see us investigate, let us know!  We love hearing from you.

What A Weekend!

On Friday, we spent the morning at 299 Queen St. W in Toronto filming with The Marilyn Denis Show! Rachel was interviewed by Marilyn and will be featured on the show TOMORROW - Wednesday October 30th! Make sure you tune in!

Friday and Saturday evening we spent at Lang Pioneer Village for their Historic All Hallows Eve event. We had such an amazing time and enjoyed talking to everyone who visited!

We are now beginning to slow down as the Halloween season is almost over. If you have sent us an email and message within the past week, keep a look out for a reply soon! We will be responding to everyone as soon as possible.

Time To Get Spooky!

This past weekend we had an opportunity to film for a web series! We will post more when we are able too! We had a fantastic time and can't wait to see the final product.
Tomorrow we will be presenting at the Ramara Public Library. We are looking forward to sharing with all those attending.

Next week, we are back to filming something AWESOME for a national TV production and will be spending our weekend at Lang Pioneer Village for their Historic All Hallow's Eve event!

We can't wait! We are also booking investigations for November and into January. If you have a location you are interested in, we would love to know!
